Project Presentation

The project "Haizingergasse 10" is an extensive renovation of a beautiful old building interest house as well as an addition to the top floor of the property with a total of 5 newly built residential units in the middle of the 18th district. The revitalization project is situated in a good location in the 18th district of Vienna, close to all important amenities for daily needs.

After completion of the construction work, a total of 5 novel residential units with a weighted living area of 553 m² including balconies and terraces will be offered for sale in "Haizingergasse 10". The residential units will be realized with a special focus on contemporary and stylish construction. Special attention is paid to the use of high-quality materials.

The building permit is available and the planning phase is completed. The construction phase is already in full swing and the sale of the apartments will start shortly.

Location

Währing is one of the most sought-after and also most expensive residential areas in Vienna. The demand has been consistently high for years - regardless of whether in convenient locations such as the popular Kutschkermarkt or in quiet green areas such as the Währinger Cottage or near the Türkenschanzpark. Overall, there is little new construction activity here. Instead, old buildings are being renovated and extended with modern and high-quality attics.

Währing brings young and old together - this family-oriented atmosphere and the good connections to the inner districts make the 18th district interesting for everyone. They also appreciate the generous green spaces (27 percent of the total area of the district), such as those offered by the Türkenschanzpark or the Pötzleinsdorfer Schlosspark. The Kutschkermarkt is considered the pulsating heart of the district. Its history dates back to the year 1885. With its diverse market stalls and gastronomy offers it is today one of the last street markets in Vienna. While a considerable number of Wilhelminian style houses can still be found near the Gürteln, the so-called "Cottage Quarter" developed in the interior of Währing around 1873, based on the English architecture of the time. Today, many members of the upper middle class are at home in this noble area. Before his death in 1931, the poet Arthur Schnitzler lived at 71 Sternwartestraße for almost twenty years, during which time he created many of his well-known plays, novels and stories.

Discover the surroundings

Nothing is worth more than a good location. The "Haizingergasse 10" project is located in the immediate vicinity of the two subway stations Währingergürtel and Nußdorferstraße, which means that the city center can be reached in just 10-15 minutes. The two local recreation areas Türkenschanzpark and the observatory park offer countless opportunities to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Especially the Schafbergbad am Schafberg attracts many people.

Türkenschanzpark

In the middle of Vienna and yet in a wonderful natural scenery is the Türkenschanzpark in the 18th district. It is a meeting point for those who are longing for some peace and quiet while walking or simply relaxing, but also for those who are looking for outdoor sports activities. The name of the park derives from the second Turkish siege in the 17th century. There are numerous monuments to discover and especially beautiful are the large ponds and the extensive meadows, when the last sunrays of the day blink through the leaves and turn everything into a rich gold, or in winter they are adorned by a layer of hoarfrost. Those who still want to treat themselves to culinary delicacies can, for example, stop off at the Meierei-Diglas directly in the park.

Carriage market

The history of the market in the 18th district dates back to 1885 and was named after Archbishop Johann Rudolf Kutschker, who is known for his commitment to civil rights and peace. During the last 15 years the Kutschker market has experienced an upswing, which is mainly due to the local people. They have revived the joint project "Grätzl und Markt" with much commitment and love. This has created a meeting place for different generations and cultures, a colorful, communicative oasis where country meets city and pleasures of all kinds. On Friday and Saturday, the market will also be extended further up the road with the regional assortment of the farmers' market. From cereals, fruit and vegetables to organic meat and fish, everything is on offer and there is a lively bustle. The best thing is to simply stroll across the market and let yourself be guided by your own taste.

Schafbergbad

A visit to the Schafbergbad in the 18th district guarantees cooling off and lots of water fun. With an amazing 102 meters, the slide there is also considered the longest slide in town. The queue of waiting people can reach all the way down to the bottom. But we promise: It's worth the effort and you shouldn't miss out on the fun. The Schafbergbad is also absolutely recommendable, spoils you with a view over the whole of Vienna, a large sunbathing area, shady places and is extremely chilly. On the homepage you can check if there are still Corona-conditioned capacities on the sunbathing areas for the respective day.
