Project Presentation

In the "Erlenweg 6" project, a residential complex with seven houses is being built in an exclusive construction method with a total of 35 privately financed owner-occupied apartments between 35 m² and 120 m² with a weighted living space of 2,988 m². In addition to the unique panorama with a view of Lake Wörthersee, the residents of the residential complex will have 60 garage spaces and 5 outdoor parking spaces at their disposal. The ideal use of space on the extensive property offers a relaxing and open atmosphere and an excellent feel-good climate.

With the sustainable construction method, particular importance was attached to well thought-out floor plans. During the planning phase, residential units for a wide range of target groups were created and the room layout was adapted to a wide variety of living situations. The residential units are implemented with special consideration of contemporary and comfortable construction methods. All apartments have open spaces such as terraces or gardens.

Location

As one of the most popular holiday destinations in Austria, Lake Wörthersee in Carinthia lies in the south of Austria and is embedded in the Alps. Despite its location in the Alps, Lake Wörthersee is one of the warmest Alpine lakes with water temperatures of up to 25°C in summer. Last but not least, Lake Wörthersee has always been a popular holiday destination, not least because of its location between the two largest towns in the province of Carinthia, Klagenfurt and Villach. As early as 1864, Klagenfurt was connected to the railway network, including an extension along the northern shore of Lake Wörthersee, making the lake a popular "summer resort" region.

Among the most famous hotels at Lake Wörthersee is Schloss Velden, which became known in the German-speaking world as an exclusive hotel complex through the TV show "Ein Schloß am Wörthersee" with Roy Black and Uschi Glas. Due to the high density of gourmet restaurants and well-known events such as the Fête Blanche, Pink Lake and Starnacht, Lake Wörthersee is considered a lifestyle destination from afar and attracts a large number of tourists every year. In addition to the events known throughout Austria, Lake Wörthersee and the surrounding region also offer recreation and adventure. In addition to numerous theme hiking trails, Lake Wörthersee is also becoming increasingly popular with water sports enthusiasts.

Discover the surroundings

On the southern shore of Lake Wörthersee lies Reifnitz in the municipality of Maria Wörth. Due to the short distance of only 14 km to Klagenfurt, Reifnitz is a popular recreation area for the inhabitants of Klagenfurt. In summer, however, holidaymakers from all over Austria also come here, so that around 330,000 overnight stays are made due to summer tourism. In addition to the proximity to Klagenfurt, the other tourist resorts around Lake Wörthersee are also easy to reach, as Maria Wörth has its own landing stage for Wörthersee shipping. Velden with its well-known gourmet restaurants is therefore easily accessible or a popular day trip destination.

Lake Wörthersee & Lido Reifnitz

With 19.39 km² the Wörthersee is the largest lake in Carinthia and with an average water temperature of 25°C in summer it is also the warmest lake in the Alps. The pleasant bathing temperature is especially popular with summer tourists, as bathing is possible well into September. A special feature of Lake Wörthersee is its milky-turquoise colour, which is created by the lime-rich water and colours the water idyllically, especially in summer. In autumn 2019, the lido in Reifnitz was also rebuilt and modernised for the 2020 bathing season, as the number of visitors increases every year. In addition, the range of water trend sports on offer throughout Lake Wörthersee is constantly growing, which means that additional guests are travelling to Lake Wörthersee, especially to extend the season. In addition to sailing, water skiing and parasailing, new water sports such as wakeboarding are becoming increasingly popular and important at Lake Wörthersee.

Minimundus in Klagenfurt

Klagenfurt can be reached in a few minutes by car from Reifnitz. The miniature park "Minimundus" is located on an area of over 26,000 m² and exhibits 159 miniature models of well-known buildings, ships and trains from all continents on a scale of 1:25. Originally opened in 1958, more than 15 million people have already visited the park. The net proceeds of the Minimundus Park are donated to the aid organisation "Save the Child", which is also the owner of the park. About one third of the models in the park show important buildings from Austria, the majority of the models cover the world's most important landmarks and monuments.

Pyramid Kogel

On the south side of Lake Wörthersee at 851 m above sea level is the "Pyramidenkogel" lookout tower and offers visitors a breathtaking panorama of the entire Wörthersee after climbing 441 steps. Originally constructed in 1950 as a wooden observation tower, a completely new observation tower was erected in 2013. In addition to two observation platforms one above the other and an event room at a total height of almost 100 m, it also offers the highest slide in Europe with a height difference of 52 m.

Velden

On the western bay of the Wörthersee lies Velden, one of the most famous tourist resorts in Austria. Directly on the shore of Lake Wörthersee is Velden Castle, which is considered to be the most famous tourist establishment on Lake Wörthersee. Velden Castle is famous for the TV series of the same name "Ein Schloß am Wörthersee" which was broadcast in more than 40 countries. Even today, international film stars regularly visit Schloss Velden for their summer holidays.

Today Velden is considered a hotspot with a unique attitude to life, which is very popular with visitors from home and abroad, with a wide range of top-class gastronomy, hotels and recreational facilities. This mix of Carinthian down-to-earthness of the alpine region and a great attitude towards life is very much alive in Velden.
